FMX at Iceland Airwaves
Today we were set to announce a special night of Faroese music at the matchless Iceland Airwaves showcase festival. This was an event we had been planning with the Airwaves team for a very long time, and a first for Faroese Islands, which would see us host a full night at the wonderful IÐNÓ venue in central Reykjaviík. This year to feature FRUM, Kóboykex, Dania O. Tausen and Janus Rasmussen.
Needless to say we are devastated for this loss, for Iceland Airwaves, these brilliant artists, and indeed music as a whole, which again has been dealt a cruel blow at the hands of the pandemic.
We stand alongside our partners and colleagues locally, and in Iceland, and thank them for their continued dedication to us, and their selfless service to music.
The scenes that will unfurl as this great event finally gets to happen in 2022, will be very, very special.
