Lea Kampmann ready for Reeperbahn Festival 2026
Faroese artist Lea Kampmann has been confirmed for this year’s Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, one of Europe’s largest and most influential showcase festivals and an important meeting point for the international music industry.
Each September, thousands of music professionals from around the world gather in Hamburg as Reeperbahn Festival takes over clubs, venues and other spaces across the St. Pauli district.
Combining hundreds of live performances with an extensive music industry conference, Reeperbahn Festival has become one of Europe’s key platforms for discovering emerging artists with international potential. For Lea Kampmann, the festival offers an opportunity to introduce her music to new audiences while performing in front of influential representatives from across the global music industry.
Germany is one of Europe’s largest music markets and a priority territory for Faroe Music Export (FMX). Reeperbahn Festival brings together record labels, booking agencies, managers, festivals, media and other key industry professionals, making it an important platform for building international connections and creating new opportunities.
For FMX, Lea’s appearance is therefore about more than the concert itself. Showcase festivals such as Reeperbahn can provide a starting point for new festival bookings, industry partnerships and opportunities in new markets. FMX will be present throughout the festival, working to connect Lea Kampmann and other Faroese artists with relevant international industry professionals.
The Hamburg performance follows Lea Kampmann’s recent appearance at Norden Festival in Schleswig, where she received an enthusiastic response from the German audience. Reeperbahn marks another step towards building her presence in Germany and across the wider European market.
Reeperbahn Festival takes place in Hamburg, Germany, from 16–19 September 2026.
